GANGRENATOR!

NO LIFE AFTER DEATH METAL!

I have a new band with Amoque Von Berlevaag from Endwarfment and the fantastically excellent LASERGUYS.

It's old deathmetal/grind the way it's meant to be. We have made a few test demos with programmed demonstration drums which were really only meant for ourselves, but we may release them on tape cassette. We are working on our debut vinyl right now with a real live drummer . . . oh and there wont be a CD release. CD is a dead format. Only Vinyl and Cassette Tape is real!

So far our songs are called PLAGUE DOLLS, WHEN CHILDREN ATTACK LIONS, TASTE THE SKULL, CYCLOPS TRIBES OF INNER EARTH and SUBHUMAN SACRIFICE.

Right now Mr Reptile Robot, Justin Bartlett from WWW.WEARETHEROBOTS.COM is drawing a logo and some artwork in the back of his schoolbook for our new Myspace page.

THE STRANGEST VILLAGE IN BRITAIN

I first watched this at Pat's place on video and I thought it was a hoax. I couldn't belive it was real. It lived in my head for ages afterwards and I'm really glad I found this online. Everyone should watch this documentary. It's hilarious, strange, deeply insightful and profoundly moving. In my opinion it's a work of genius from start to finish.

VISIT THE STRANGE VILLAGE!

THE COST OF LIVING

Ever since I stumbled on Strange Fish late at night on Channel 4 many moons ago, I've been a big fan of DV8 Physical Theatre and modern dance in general . . .

You should check out Strange Fish if you get the chance - it's really mindblowing on many levels.

Here are some clips from their last show - I was lucky to get to see this twice, once at The Royal Festival Hall and then again at The Tate Modern . . .

HADES RISE!

These videos are so good I watch them over and over. The guy who posted these should get a goddamn medal. I got to see Aura Noir live in Drammen back in 98 and they were so good my head split completely in half.

BLOOD CEREMONY

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law!

DRINK DEEP, DROWNING ANGELS

"These coffins we carried them off in
Their wood awning blisters and splinters
None could contain these spectres
Dead dream dejectors
Drink deep, drowning angels
None can save you . . . or turn the tables
Fare thee well our morbid creation."

I share with you a review of Code's first and last gig. My humble thanks to all those who made the effort to come and see us - our thanks is in the special and "one chance in a million" spectacle we offered you. A very kind Richie Ruchpaul described us as "hands-down stellar," even though we were very rough around those edges . . .We play one final (I promise!) farewell performance at Bitterfeld United Metal Maniacs Festival in May and look forward to celebrating the occult enigma of the unique Nouveau Gloaming album one last time.

SEARCHING FOR THE WRONG EYED JESUS

One of the few jewels in my movie collection. I usually show this to most of the people who come and stay over at my place or are hanging out late. Beautifully shot and crafted by Andrew Douglas and featuring Jim White as the narrator. This lyrical, non-linear and slightly sinister travelogue meanders slowly through the Deep South and gives us a glimpse of a world that is, if not a little fictitious, utterly enthralling. Totally and completely torn apart by the American critics as "trite, faux-poetic and romanticised", I think it's a genuine dreamers guide to a place so steeped in atmosphere, legend and old time religion, you'd be downright dull to ignore the romance of it all. A film that lives with you afterwards for a while.

Some to doom are born . . .

Jex Thoth . . .

"Every night and every morn,
Some to misery are born,
Every morn and every night,
Some are born to sweet delight.
Some are born to sweet delight,
Some are born to endless night."
